Living Tree’s serene setting, located on a working homestead and surrounded by forest is a nourishing place to spend the summer. Our private swim hole on the Mad River is a favorite.

The Mad River Interfaith Council offers partial scholarships for families residing in the Mad River Valley. Stay tuned for more information on how to apply for a scholarship with them.

Our unique pedagogy facilitates community experiences that challenge participants to experiment and reflect on their group dynamics through shared work and experiences on our educational homestead.
Jewish groups explore the concepts of minyan (community), mussar (self growth) and mitzvot ( value -based action through facilitated cycles of group and individual work and reflection).
