Spend Rejuvenating Time at Living Tree

Enjoy the beauty of the land and seasonal charm of the Mad River Valley in one of three short-term rental spaces or our rustic camping area. Our beautiful 91-acre property features cross-country ski and hiking trails, an organic farm with chickens and sheep, and private access to the Mad River for swimming and exploring.

We are 20 minutes from Sugarbush ski resort, Mad River Glen, the Catamount and Long Trail trailheads and minutes from all the shops and restaurants in  Waitsfield, Middlesex, and Waterbury. We’re also an easy drive to Stowe, Montpelier, and Burlington.

Whether you’re interested in getting to know our community or just looking for a getaway, we’d love to have you stay!

Our Airbnb properties

Two of our rentals are in our Common House, built in 2021, which sits at the heart of our five-family cohousing village:

  • Our one-bedroom Guest Suite, with full kitchen and bath, has a private entrance and porch and sleeps up to four people. It is available year round.
  • The main Common House has three bedrooms, full kitchen, living and dining spaces, and one and a half baths.

The third rental, the Blue Casa, is a private bedroom and bath attached to the home of one our residents.
