Shavuot on the Farm, June 11–13

Celebrate Shavuot with a 3 day holiday retreat on Living Tree!

Connect to the natural world & community with rest, joy, and celebration.  

This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Vermont with contemplation, embodied prayer, ancient Jewish wisdom teachings, song, and  delicious farm-grown food. 

Our program will be led by Living Tree staff and some incredible Jewish wisdom-keepers.

Enjoy free time in nature amongst the forest, farm field, river and streams 

Engage in a heart-opening cacao ceremony.  

All meals are included, and participants have the option to camp overnight.

Tentative Schedule –  

 June 11 

  • 3pm-6pm – Arrival and set up camp 
  • 6:30pm – Community Dinner and Candle Lighting 
    • Followed by Song Circle led by Rabbi David Curiel 
  •  8:15pm – Midnight – Embodied Torah Learning around the fire  
    • Participants are invited to learn through the night – as desired. 

June 12

  • Sunrise Otiyot Hayiot in the field with Yehudit Goldfarb
  • 10am – Morning Prayer and Torah Song Circle led by Rabbi David Curiel and Rabbi Tobie Weisman
  • 12:30pm – Community Shavuot Lunch
    • Followed by rest & rejuvenation – walk down to the river, lay in a hammock
    • Wander through the pilgrimage journey in the field
  • 4pm – Otiyot Hayot & Embodied Learning with Yehudit & Reuven Goldfarb
  • 6:30pm – Community dinner
  • 7:30pm – Heart Opening Cacao Ceremony & Breathwork with Yeshua Orah

June 13

  • 10 am – Contemplative Nature walk with Kohenet Sephirah Asherah
