Celebrate the Festival of Lights!
Join Living Tree Alliance, PJ Library of Vermont and Jewish Communities of Vermont for an intergenerational Chanukah gathering—with games, food, and live music around a warm fire!
When: Sunday, Dec. 29, 4:30 p.m.
Where: The Common House at Living Tree Alliance
Donation: suggested sliding scale, $18–$56 per family. No one turned away for inability to pay
Increase the joy and light at this time of darkness and miracles. We’ll gather for:
- Community crafts and games for all ages—you don’t want to miss the infamous Maccabee fort, human dreidel contest, and gelt stacking!
- A special music performance for the little ones with Miss Andrea of Musical Munchkins
- Menorah lighting—feel free to bring your own!
- Chanukah storytelling
- Cozy potluck dinner— Latkes and Soup will be provided, please bring a vegetarian dish to share
- Seasonal song circle around the bonfire with the talented musicians: Avi Salloway and Emma Back
Donations for this event will be split between LTA’s end-of-year fundraising goals and the Good Samaritan homeless warming shelter in Montpelier.
