Celebrate the Festival of Lights!

Join Living Tree Alliance, PJ Library of Vermont and Jewish Communities of Vermont for an intergenerational Chanukah gathering—with games, food, and live music around a warm fire!

When: Sunday, Dec. 29, 4:30 p.m.
Where: The Common House at Living Tree Alliance
Donation: suggested sliding scale, $18–$56 per family. No one turned away for inability to pay

Increase the joy and light at this time of darkness and miracles. We’ll gather for:

  • Community crafts and games for all ages—you don’t want to miss the infamous Maccabee fort, human dreidel contest, and gelt stacking!
  • A special music performance for the little ones with Miss Andrea of Musical Munchkins
  • Menorah lighting—feel free to bring your own!
  • Chanukah storytelling
  • Cozy potluck dinner—latkes and soup will be provided; please bring a vegetarian side dish to share
  • Seasonal song circle around the bonfire with the talented musicians Avi Salloway and Ida Mae Specker

In the Season of Giving:

Please bring these high demand items for the Good Samaritan Warming Shelters in Central Vermont

Bath towels, Paper towels, Coffee, cream & sugar, Laundry deterget, feminine hygeine products, and Gift cards to local stores like Walmart, Dollar Tree, Walgreens, Dunkin’ Donuts
