In the spring and summer we routinely have family days on the farm where we plant and harvest as a community.  We teach universal Jewish values in connection to growing food, such as learning about the Jewish Mitzvah of “Pe’ah”, leaving the corners of the field to give to those in need.  Join us as together with our children we visit farm animals, harvest greens for the Mad River Food Shelf, hear Jewish stories and teachings, plant trees in our Tree of Life Orchard, bring a fruit tree to plant to honor your loved one, enjoy the natural world and community.
