Build Friendships – Connect to the Seasons – Honor the Rhythms of Jewish Calendar Celebrate Shabbat with Meaning
Deepen your connection to Jewish Community through the Havurah Movement, intentionally designed to cultivate local, peer-led, Jewish gathering friendship groups.
We gather at Living Tree on the first Saturday of every month, December 2022 through June 2023, to build connections, celebrate Shabbat, create meaning together.
The program is intergenerational and is for both individuals and families.
Proposed Schedule:
10:45am – arrive
11am – 11:15am – Community Circle
11:15am – 12:15pm – Adults will gather in the Common House for song, embodied prayer, learning, meaningful discussion. There will be time to connect to the beauty of the natural world as well each month.
– Children will gather outdoors for engaged seasonal Jewish education including craft time.
12:15pm – 1pm – Shabbat Potluck Lunch in the Common House
Suggested donation for the year program: sliding scale: $18-$180
We are looking for about 10-12 adults to commit to meeting regularly. Join usto see if its a good fit for you!

First Gathering – November 19 – 11am
Join us with special guest Kohenet Annie Matan from Toronto
We begin this regular shabbat gathering with a special guest, Annie Matan who brings beautiful song, intention and meaning into the day to day of life, nature connection, and magic. She believes that the way forward is to honor those who came before and build a society that celebrates diversity and leverages everyone’s gifts to support the whole community.
Together we come together to honor each other, ourselves, and tradition. Join us as we create this container together to build meaningful community, nature, and ancestral connections.
Kohenet Annie is also offering individual Spiritual Guidance sessions on Saturday afternoon.
