A Rich Mosaic

Our land is situated on 91 acres in the beautiful Mad River Valley.  The land’s rich mosaic of soil types and microclimates supports a broad diversity of flora and fauna. Seven acres of river bottom fields are at the confluence of the Mad River and Dowsville Brook and a six acre upper-field sits a few hundred feet higher, adjacent to the cohousing community.  The land abuts the local public middle and high school, a public frisbee golf course and is connected through well traveled trails.
